Quantitative Developer

What is Quantitative Developer responsible for ?

We are looking for a Quantitative Developer to provide research and portfolio management support for the largest, most liquid listed and tradable crypto assets (e.g., BTC, ETH, etc.).

Using both quantitative methods, the Analyst will develop and maintain valuation.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Quantitative Developer ?

Primary responsibility -

- Work with Data Engineering teams to build quantitative dashboards for risk and performance analysis.

- Identify and curate new data sources to enhance investment research.

- Develop long-term data architecture strategy.

- Establish data quality checks and best practices.

- Support the build out of new investment strategies and products and related marketing.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be Successful?

- 2+ years of quantitative equity or fixed income system development outside of education and internships

- 4+ years of coding and data science experience

- Experience in building and maintaining Equity Portfolio Performance Attribution and Risk Management systems.

- Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills

- Python / R programming language preferred along with SQL, VBA, Java C++, etc.

- Strong quantitative and database skills.

- Working knowledge of modern portfolio theory, multifactor risk methods, and factor-based investing.

- Bachelor's or Masters in a quantitative discipline such as: economics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering

- Strong team player who can integrate into an existing team and processes. Effective relationship management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with external parties.

- Public API management, GraphQL

- Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, DAD, Kanban, and the like) work organization methodologies
