About the role : Quantela is looking for a highly qualified supply chain specialist, who would report to COO and manage the contract manufacturing and supply chain of our embedded hardware products for clients in US, from India, Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, Taiwan, etc. and China Responsibilities : - Responsible for supplier relationship management including management of relationships with strategic partners, supplier general supplier communication activities - Develop team with diverse capabilities in order to deliver objectives that are in line with requirements of the business - Develop and drive strategy deployment focused towards tactical and long term organizational and functional goals and drive Productivity pipeline - Drive change management and innovation in the company to leverage market conditions - Lead commercial handling of 3rd party manufacturers and contract manufacturing - Drive the cost workings and analysis for different commercial models - Negotiate for best commercial terms for new contracts, renewals as well as other agreements Qualifications : - 10 to 15 years of relevant post qualification experience in Contract Manufacturing and Supply Chain function in electronics - Experience with manufacturing units in India, SE Asia or China supporting the US would be a distinct advantage - Experience in manufacturing lighting controls, IOT controllers is preferred - Knowledge of procurement processes, logistics models & supply chain domain - Ability to resolve issues and lead cross functional teams - Detailed understanding of supply chain and related expenditures - Strong analytical skills for problem solving and arrive at best strategies for the business - Knowledge of handling contract manufacturing for embedded hardware products - Must have good understanding of global trends and practices in supply chain management. - Experience with standard industry platforms, especially SAP will be preferred. - Proven strong relationship management skills and demonstrated success in building partnerships, collaborating, and influencing at senior levels across lines of business as well as with corporate partners and external vendors. - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. - Good understanding of Six Sigma, Lean, etc. and a track record of continuous improvement through usage of the above quality tools.
