Quant Developer - Equities Structured Products Business

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced quant developer who will play a key role in driving modeling and marking in the Equities Structured Products business. You will be expected to be very comfortable with both theoretical quantitative finance and its implementation in code. We also expect you to be a strong communicator and team player, as you will need to constructively volunteer quantitatively reasoned views that will be considered across a global business.

Effectively meeting the demands of our challenging mandate requires a passion for learning as well as deep understanding and experience across a wide array of technical competencies.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

- 5+ years of experience in a related role.

Solid understanding of and history of working with as many as possible of the following:

- Data structures and algorithms in a programming language such as Scala, Python, C/++, or Java.

- Foundational mathematical concepts, including continuity, differentiability, Taylor formulas, differential equations, integration, measure theory, linear algebra, discrete and continuous probabilities, Markov chains, linear regression.

- Monte Carlo simulations, backward induction, and other numerical methods to solve partial differential equations.

- Development of pricing models using financial mathematics principles, including stochastic calculus and no-arbitrage pricing theory.
