Job opening with a Leading Investment Bank.

Location:Mumbai

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform quantitative analyses w.r.t. e.g. deposit stability, interest rate scenarios, revenue development including further enhancement of underlying methodologies

- Support impact analysis of regulatory developments (e.g. Basel3) on GTB businesses

- Further enhance, develop and automate existing interest rate and liquidity risk reporting

- Improve the quality, quantity and speed of creation of quantitative analytics tools for the global ALM team

- Consolidate and develop analytical models / tools for risks management (primarily interest rate and liquidity) as well as put research paper ideas into practical use

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Technical Skills:

- 1-2 years experience in Quantitative Analysis

- Excellent command of Excel

- VBA/SAS/SQL knowledge advantageous

- Good working knowledge of probability and statistics essential

- The candidate should be a creative independent thinker, interested in innovative financial products

- Basic theoretical knowledge of financial markets (esp. options) and an enthusiasm to understand better

Behavioral Skills: (e.g. communication skills)

- Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment

- Motivated, fast thinking, dynamic professionals with exposure to finance

- Superior analytical aptitude, problem solving abilities and excellent communication and presentation skills
