Quant Analyst & Developer - Algo - IIT/NIT/BITS

We are looking forward for a suitable candidate for the below mentioned position

Position : Quant Analyst and Developer

JD :

- Provide the overall leadership, vision and direction for risk management in Organisation.

- Establish an integrated risk management framework for all aspects of risks across the Organization

- Develop risk management policies, including the quantification of our risk appetite through specific risk limits

- Implement a set of risk metrics and reports including key risk exposures andearly warning indicators

- Develop the analytical, systems and data management capabilities to support the risk management

- Oversight of risk at an organizational level and adequate communication with the top management

About Profile : Algo Analyst and Development

- Our client one of the pioneers of algorithmic trading in Indian markets. Our Proprietary desk is one of the biggest Prop desk in India. And algorithmic trading is used extensively by the desk.

- We are the designated market makers on multiple exchanges. Similarly, around 75% of the volumes of our Institutional broking business is done though algorithmic trading.

- In order to ensure that there are no risk accidents because of algorithmic trading across the organization, a central Algo Lab has been setup within the team.

- Algo lab works towards identifying innovative ways of finding any issues in algorithms before it is deployed for live trading.

- This role is for a developer in the Algo lab. This role will begin with a focused involvement in development of new algorithms and trading infrastructures (Simulator, Matching Engine etc)which will enable in validation of algo functionality.

- The role will require expert level coding skills in either C++ or Java. The role will mature into a senior algorithm developer for the trading desk.

Requirements :

- Computer Science Engineer from Top Engineering Colleges (IITs, BITs, Select NITs)

- Minimum 2/ 3 years experience.

- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience as algo development or financial services.
