Quant Analyst - BFSI

Project and Analytics :

- Employee will be a critical member of client's support team and will support other members of the team, primarily but not exclusively through financial analysis

- Provide initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities for the firm as well as tracking the existing investment portfolio or new development

- Financial modelling including Cash flow, Prepayment, Default and loss severity modelling to support potential investment opportunities

- Provide financial evaluation of project investment opportunities including review of project documents

- Assist in preparation of Investment presentation to Hedge funds and Asset managers

- Provide ongoing monitoring of assets with the firm's portfolios including review of monthly performance Indicators

- Create and maintain internal databases as well as external databases

- Ensure data quality and accuracy on reporting

Operational Effectiveness & Control :

- Drive process re-engineering, improvements in existing delivery mechanism by developing and testing new information infrastructure, staging and integrating data in the warehouse, marts, reports and other information structures.

- Sets clear objectives, defining metrics and key milestones to plan and organize work

- Continuously review key risks and proactively institute controls in place to address the same.

- Develop appropriate data quality improvements to evidence sustainable business benefits

- Provide relevant, meaningful metrics for various stakeholder groups

Skills :

1-5 years of experience in Financial Research and Analytics in verticals such as Capital Market, Investment banking with at least 2 years- experience in delivering data-centric solutioning, quant, exposure to capital market and financial industries.

Financial Modelling skills and experience in advance SAS, R.
