Quality Shop is a funded start up in the consumer domain focusing on the hyper local needs - Grocery and daily products via mobile and web. The core team is dynamic with alumni from IIM Calcutta, top b-schools abroad, a mixture of seasoned veterans and young experimenting founders who have started companies and have seen exits. We are looking for a technology head having a mixture of technology skills in the eCommerce, knowledge about mobile apps and exposure to Analytics

Location Chennai

Responsibilities

App, eCommerce and technology space

Technology captain of the company. He will be responsible for the creation of app, implementing new technologies in the eCommerce. Should be willing to learn upcoming technologies in the mobile/ eCommerce space and gain holistic picture.

Development experience in Android/iOS app development is a big plus.

Analytics

Exposure and understanding of Analytics is an essential requirement. Will be interacting and implementing analytics backend for Customer purchase life cycle. Regular interaction with analytics team will be the norm. Assistance from the management team will be provided, you should be competent to implement the technology and design data architecture as per business objectives till Analytics becomes a separate division

MIS

Will be the complete owner of management of IT systems. All decisions on budgeting, front end and back end updates, IT architecture changes, data storage and analytics will be under your purview

Coordinating with app developers, back end strengthening, quickly finding alternative solutions if things hit a hurdle.

Team Management

Will be building the team from scratch. Should have team management experience including delegation and evaluation of handling atleast 10 direct team members.

Will be executing jobs with the help of a team and sometimes without the team. Some hands on work will be involved in the first two months. Work with the objectives and smartly getting it done by any means. Completion is the key.

Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech from IITs/NITs or top engineering colleges

Compensation

Salary + ESOPS. Potential to earn big with ESOPS. Good amount of equity on offer for senior level executives
