Quality Assurance, Quality Control Engineer & Safety Management - Construction

- Review and Implement the QA/QC management system at Site

- Review detail designs and execution drawings, checking survey and setting out.

- Coordinate with Site engineer, contractors and vendors for all quality requirements and fulfilment.

- Ensure the environmental and social covenants are implemented during construction.

- Coordinate with the Site engineer and Contract supervisor for all quality matters

- Coordinate for all receipt inspections

- Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site team.

- Verify the quality relates site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards

- Participate in the site internal and external audits

- Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site engineers

- Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses

- Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC plan

- Complete and Coordinate the approval of the site QC technical Submittals to the client

- Coordinate with the Project Manager on all Quality issues, coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with Project stake holders.

- Elaborating inspection and test programs

- Ensure all technical documents related to site quality control are properly maintained.

- Responsible for quality assurance & quality control at the project site and report to the site Manager in the issues related to deficiencies in the quality management process at the site.

- Witness all the test & check test reports and conducting stage wise inspection in sequence of construction as per the client established field quality plan.

- Maintained the protocols for the inspections and tests.

- Carryout all inspection and get the approval.

- Follow up with the Handing Over procedure & requirements with the client to get the Acceptance

- Coordination & direct supervision on all activities related to laboratories & field tests. Conduct quality awareness meetings & inductions for project engineers, site engineers & other construction staffs.

- Overall supervision on all sites activities to ensure that work is completed in accordance with the contract specifications, agreed procedure, method statements as per QMS, codes & specifications & client satisfaction.

- Knowledge of IS codes is mandate.

- Interface with client, PMC, Contractor & internal quality department.

Safety Management :

- Development & improvement of Safety management system for projects

- Induction training for all staff, workmen.

- Conducting regular training programme for all employee and contract labourer.

- Observation of Unsafe act and conditions and ensuring precautionary steps at site.

- Near miss, Incident and Accident reporting and investigations.

- Raising HSE Violation, warning letters, debit notes etc. to the contractors in case of failure to follow the HSE rules & regulations.

- Maintaining PPE's and first aid register at site, Work permits, MIS reports & Indent for safety equipment.

- Co-ordination with Concern Deputy Director factories and boilers for clearance and compliances
