Quality Head - Flexible Packaging

Our Client has a pan India presence with state-of-the-art GMP & ISO certified Plants and a network of Sales Offices. Their Sales Offices are located at Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Tirupur and service a large, ever-growing client base comprising the who's who of Indian and global giants from their Plants located in the West at Daman, in the North at Nalagarh and in the South at Bangalore/ Tirupur.

Our Client caters to market segments across Foods, Beverages, Personal Care, Home Care, Health & Hygiene, Pharmaceutical, Agro-sector and others The provide solutions for Labels, Laminates, Specialty Flexibles and General Flexibles, Export Garment Packaging verticals.

Role

The person will be responsible for overall Quality functions for Flexible Packaging Products.

Reporting to: Supply Chain Head

Job Responsibilities:

- Managed entire responsibility of the QC activities for all the products manufactured across different Plants.

- Ensure right specification in place for all products manufactured.

- All in Line quality checks in place for 100% defect free products despatched to customers.

- Ensuring complete in-process quality control and continuous improvement in process capabilities,

Managing quality across raw materials, work in progress, finished goods in various functional departments.

- Responsible for continuous up gradation of quality systems for better control and compliance.

- Periodically conduct Internal & External quality audit.

Competencies

- Candidates ONLY from "flexible packaging" industry will be considered.

- Should have in depth knowledge of flexible packaging process and inputs

- Guide QC team to resolve problems

- Plant compliance by implementing processes like mix-up, validation etc.

- Knowledge: Printing, Slitting, Gluing, lamination and cutting

- Evaluate, analyze and resolve consumer complaints ensuring prompt feedback with CAPA

Qualification & Experience:

Graduation or Post graduation in Science with at least 6 to 10 years of experience as Quality Head of the manufacturing plant (Flexible Packaging Industry) with an experience of handling independently Quality Functions & Audit of the Plant/ Factory.
