Analyst (IEC)

- QCI was set up by the Government of India jointly with the Indian Industry represented by the three premier industry associations i.e. Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), to establish and operate national accreditation structure and promote quality through National Quality Campaign.

- The Project Analysis and Documentation Division at QCI currently handles numerous voluntary and regulatory driven certification schemes cutting across various sectors, ranging from Agriculture, Food, Healthcare, Industry, Regulators, and Personnel Competence.

- The Ministry of Civil Aviation notified Certification Scheme for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) on 26th Jan 2022. This requires the PADD, QCI to understand the drone ecosystem in the country and liaise with DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, industry association, AAI and other agencies in a meaningful manner to meet the desired objectives. In order to drive the UAS scheme, QCI is seeking a professional with reporting to the Project Analysis and Documentation Division (PADD) of QCI to support the development and delivery of the work streams mentioned below.

Duties & Responsibilities :


- Supporting the project manager (IEC) in driving the scheme IEC activities.

- Providing support in the documentation of IEC activities including technical manual, training reports, feedback forms etc.

- Providing back-end support for the capacity building programs (virtual/physical).

- Analysing the training reports, feedback etc for different IEC programs.

- Communicating with varied stakeholders with regard to IEC activities.

- Assisting in development of a comprehensive plan to improve scheme processes and revenue generation.

- Analyse the expectations and needs of varied stakeholders wrt UAS scheme in consultation with PMU team.

- Coordination with multiple stakeholders.

- Contribute to quantitative improvement in the number trainings undertaken, identification of potential clients and partners for adoption of the scheme.

- Facilitating PMU in the identification of new areas in the scheme under IEC such as audit of training schools etc.

- Contribute to evidence-based analysis and advocacy and promote knowledge networking.

- Conceptualize, develop and advocate QCI's policies and position in relevant processes, consultations and events, in close consultation with the PMU team.

- Support other activities relating to UAS scheme.

- Marketing of the scheme to increase its uptake.

- Competencies

Technical/Functional competencies :

Primary :

- Documentation; Report writing, designing of feedback forms, designing training manuals in the UAS domain relevant to the scheme deliverables.

- Communication Skills; Ability in smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.

- Analytical skills; Ability to undertake analysis of data sets relating to IEC or any such relevant activity.

- Coordination; Ability to scan the horizon and identify approaches and initiatives to bring into policy and programme design.

- Organizational abilities; Ability to organize diverse functions relating UAS scheme including trainings and related activities.

- Team Building; Ability to co-ordinate with PMU team members, the vendors and stakeholder (internal/external) for website/dashboard and project related activities to resolve issues regarding any user queries.

- Resource Mobilization; Ability to identify and organize programmes and projects to implement solutions and generate resources.

Education, Experience & Required Skills :

Education : Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Engineering. Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline would be an added advantage.

Experience & Required Skills :

- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience involving analysis, operations, reporting, with strong understanding of aviation sector, legal and finance domain. Fresh candidates with proven academic record may also be considered.

- Internship/experience in business development, training, coordination, organising of events like conference/symposium etc. would be an added advantage.

- Experience in project proposal and report writing would be an added advantage.

- Willing to travel anywhere in India/abroad, as and when required.

- In-depth knowledge of acts (rules and regulations) w.r.t Drones/Aviation.

- Experience working on marketing of schemes/projects and creation of knowledge products is required.

- Outstanding writing and editing skills, with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Outstanding organizational and planning skills and proven ability to multitask effectively is required.

Language Requirements :

- Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required.

- Fluency in Hindi, both written and oral, is desired.
