Job Title - Quality Control

Reports To - Test Lead

Department - Quality Team

Job Location - Noida. However candidate should be open for travel / relocation.

Job Purpose

- The resource would be responsible for documenting and testing at the highest levels from product inception, immediately following approval of the business case, through testing and release.

Principal Accountabilities -

- Work with design team during requirement definition, prototyping and design activities.

- Reviewing the requirement documents and identifying the testing needs and various test scenarios.

- Prepare test cases from requirements, source documents and execute test cases.

- Involved in close interaction with developers, business analysts and other stakeholders in resolving the issues and clarifications over requirements.

- Work with other departments to provide status updates/reports throughout the testing process.

- Define risks that may impact the schedule. Suggest actions to eliminate or mitigate risks.

- Mentoring the junior team members and getting them groomed to the desired level of proficiency.

- Quality delivery of projects before the deadline date with zero defect leakage.

- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Key Stakeholders

(Internal & External) - Internal: Project Managers, Product team, Design team

External: Key Clients, Business Partners, Key Vendors & Contractors

Education & Experience -

- College degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline preferred.

- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology Preferred

- At least 3+ years of experience in Testing and validation script creation

- At least 3+ years of experience in oracle SQL.

Key Skills and Knowledge - Functional skills / capabilities:

- Candidates should have strong hold in SQL. Queries and scripting.

- Familiarity with Argus Safety Suite and reporting tools. (Optional)
