Quality Control Aggregator/Deputy General Manager - Quality Control - Chemicals

The purpose of the Quality Control Aggregator role is to oversee compliance to the quality standards for all processes involved in manufacturing of goods. Ensure adherence to quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices.

Quality Control :

- Ensure compliance of all manufacturing processes at the factory to the established quality requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards.

- Plan and undertake quality audits and analyze activities to ensure individuals and teams comply with established quality assurance systems, legislation, policies and procedures.

- Conduct quality assurance investigations of non-conforming manufacturing related processes, including identifying underlying causes, developing and coordinating recommended corrective actions.

- Maintain and oversee quality assurance system for the assigned factory including the development of quality checklists, procedures, processes, supporting tools and techniques.

- Provide technical advice and support to Factory management and staff on complex quality related matters in accordance with established policies and procedures.

- Ensure quality assurance records and information are collated and analyzed on a regular basis and records are maintained in a quality assurance repository.

Statutory Compliance and Control :

- Set Quality compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.

- Assess the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and compare with customer requirements.

- Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits.

- Monitor indicators related to ensuring employees conform to production or processing standards.

- Implement measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency and morale.

People - Recruitment, Retention & Capability Building:

- Review and monitor performance of subordinates on an ongoing basis and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs

- Ensure retention of key talent within the department

- Develop, manage and supervise training and development needs of immediate employees to meet the departmental objectives.

Educational Qualification

- Technical degree(Diploma) or B.Tech in Production Engineering/ Quality Management.

- Total Experience: 8-16 year of experience in Quality Control/ Assurance, Compliance, Audit and Regulatory.

- Adept knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.

- Knowledge and experience of the technologies and processes used in the organization .

- Experience in optimization in processes (legal/regulatory adherence an advantage).

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
