Quality Assurance Lead - EdTech

1. Planning and manages quality assurance (QA) functions and provides a QA program that supports and enforces the requirements and tasks of the Quality Control Plan

2. Leading, monitoring, witnessing, and conducting various tests and demonstrations as required

3. Developing, implementing, and manages new and revised QA support policies and procedures to ensure QA issues are considered during the acquisition

4. Using your management and quality assurance experience, work closely with peers in Product Management and Product Development to scope and prioritize projects, allocate resources, and plan the product roadmap

5. Define, implement, and maintain quality assurance methodologies and processes that all stakeholders can rally behind, and that are in line with the larger Quality Assurance organization

6. Ensure that performance and scalability is an integral component of all test strategies and project plans

7. Ensure approved software development standards, processes and procedures are adhered to, make recommendations on the adoption of industry best-practices

8. Own and drive test processes and partner with other disciplines to deliver high quality products to existing and new customers

9. Initiate and drive adoption of technology, product and process improvements throughout product development lifecycle

10. Working in an Agile environment, you will be performing multiple software quality assurance tasks

11. Reviewing for release content with Technical writer for release notes and on-line help

12. Ensuring that systems, procedures and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery

13. Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand

14. Providing leadership and technical guidance to the software quality assurance team ensuring sound engineering design, process and quality practices are followed

15. Assisting in the implementation and tracking of quality test schedules and manages bug tracking

Key Activities & Responsibilities

- Create Test Strategy and Test Plans

- Write Test cases and execute them

- Raise bugs and track them to closure

- Take ownership of Quality Assurance function

- Build/ Modify/ Enhance run books periodically, as new situations and problems come your way, or you anticipate those to come your way in the near future

- Consistently improve the quality by internalizing the feedback and coaching you receive

- Drive test automation

- Should be able to lead performance testing

- Develop and drive best practices and procedures managing quality in a quantitative and qualitative manner

- Develop and demonstrate with Metrics the work and the value that you and your team is constantly delivering
