Senior Financial Analyst - Qualcomm Ventures (Contract Role)

Job Overview : This role is part of Qualcomm Ventures team. Qualcomm ventures has been making investments in technology focused start-ups since our inception in 2000. We actively invest in emerging technologies that touch key areas such as consumer internet, Mobility, IoT and AI. As a corporate VC, we differentiate by providing our portfolio companies with industry insights, technical guidance and access to key partners within the rapidly changing technology ecosystem. This role an analyst role primarily supporting investment partners. It is ideal for someone who wishes to pursue a top-tier MBA in a couple of years or pursue entrepreneurship/VC careers.

Responsibilities:

- Work on identifying investment opportunities, sector analysis and work on financial models and portfolio management.

- Strong financial skills (analysis, valuation, and modeling).

- Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Self-driven and motivated, strong persuasive skills.

- Collecting, analyzing and synthesizing market research data for senior management

- Responsible for creating presentations, occasionally manage outreach events, negotiation with partners etc

Preferred Qualifications :

- Technology focused Venture capital/Management consulting/Investment banking industry experience

- Fresh MBA (Tier 1 Colleges) and prior engineering or technology experience in the wireless industry or investment or business development experience
