Qtech Software - Project Manager

Key Responsibilities –

- Project management responsibility for a Software company, Qtech Software, involves a dual role of software project manager and software technical lead.

- Will lead a software team and will thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholder and ensure stakeholder alignment.

- He will be responsible to establish and meet project milestones, identify conflicts or issues and develop solutions related to resources, scope and schedule.

- Should utilize sound project management and development principles, including lifecycle selection and active schedule tracking to ensure your team meets budget, schedule and quality requirements.

- As a technical lead, he will need to utilize the understanding of embedded software application development, object oriented programming principles, HTML etc. to ensure the team meets the needs of the overall project as well as the quality requirements.

- The project manager along with the team will be responsible for software related documentation generation, including detailed requirements and software design documentation.

- He will need to perform work breakdown and detailed estimates for tasks.

- He will be have technical oversight for the team including mentoring junior members, will need to ensure sound development practices are followed to ensure overall software output meets requirements, is maintainable and is high quality.

Desired skills and Education / Prior Experience

- At a minimum the project manager should have a bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or any related field.

- Should have a 6+ years of relevant experience in project work including development and management.

- Must have the ability to develop effective relationships at all levels within the organization and have the ability to prepare proposals for review and approval and effectively drive meetings to successful conclusions.

- Agile/Scrum experience is a big plus.

- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Flexible, able to multi-task, and detail-oriented. Ability to thrive in an uncertain environment is important.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as task and project organizational skills.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal and team-building skills.

- Proven ability to manage process improvement within software projects.
