Role: Financial Analyst

Job Description :

Qapita is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst based in Bangalore or Chennai to support the team in the following areas:

1. Assisting in onboarding clients to the Qapita platform including modeling capitalization tables & various financial instruments (convertibles, warrants, preference shares, etc)

2. Financial modeling and scenario analysis (waterfall, financing round, etc)

3. Research and data analysis on the market for startups in India

4. Assisting in sales and lead generation efforts

5. Providing inputs for the development of the Qapita platform

Job Requirements :

1. Educational Background: Bachelors in Commerce from a reputed institution or CA/ACS graduates - no minimum experience / CA Inter pass - minimum 1 year of relevant experience

2. Good understanding of finance, regulation, and compliance.

3. Keen interest in corporate finance and startup ecosystem in India. Prior experience at startups would be preferred

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

5. Effective written and verbal communication skills

6. Ability to adapt and learn quickly

7. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
