QA & Testing Analyst - Automation Architect

Overview:

The Test Automation Analyst works with application development & testing teams to automate functional testing while maximising standardisation and reuse, in order to ensure that testing reduces in cost while maintaining Deutsche Bank's high quality standards. They will take lead in topics of test automation and test data provisioning. They need to have specialisation in three or more of tools such as HP Unified Functional Tester, SmartBear Test Complete, Rational Integration Tester (GreenHat), Selenium & Cucumber. They must have experience and skills in at least one modern objected orientated language (e.g. Java, .NET, Python)

Responsibilities / Tasks:

- Design, develop and maintain automation scripts.

- Identify and evaluate automation technologies that suit application testing.

- Provide inputs to Test Automation Strategy & Roadmap.

- Develop and maintain best of breed Automation framework that supports various application technologies.

- Champion automation activities, provide consultation and establish best practices.

- Quality reviews of automation deliverables produced by vendors.

- Community and vendor engagement to promote a common framework.
