Payment Transformation - International Driver - Manager
Responsibilities
Reporting into an Executive Director / Partner to support the payment transformation practice to grow the practice by partnership international network firm clients.
- Tracking, reporting, and managing pipeline of all pursuits under the above portfolio
- Versatile and diverse exposure to understanding client requirements, crafting tailored solutions, and delivering compelling presentations to potential clients.
- Oversight on delivery of a portfolio of engagement and get involved to manage issues, escalations of the teams or the clients as required.
- Self-driven and willing to do what is required to meet demanding client needs
- Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
- Navigate the complexities of working in a highly matrixed environment with diverse teams across countries and engagements
- Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required.
- Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
- Contribute to research, thought leadership in the payments space by creating white paper, case studies, analysis of trends, etc.
Required Skills
Proven experience (4 - 8 years) in strategy consulting, presales, or business development roles within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on Payments Transformation.
- Balanced mix of experience covering both delivery and sales / presales of consulting engagements
- Diverse exposure to a variety of advisory services that include
- Strategy & Business Advisory (e.g. Market entry/expansion strategy, Pricing Strategy, Business build-out - green / brown field, Commercial diligence for payment targets (Buy or Sell side)
- Operational Advisory (e.g. Process improvement / Automation, Cost reduction, Fraud or risk assessment/ reduction, Partnership / outsourcing assessment, SOP documentation, PMO support, regulatory compliance review)
- Technology Advisory (Functional & Technical requirements for payment solutions, Vendor Selection / Evaluation / RFP preparation, AS-IS assessment and TO-BE solution design, Project management with implementation support, Architecture design / review, Technical due diligences)
- Exceptionally strong communication, client handling and interpersonal skills.
- Understand cultural nuances of working with different countries
- The candidate should be willing to travel for projects or pitches within and outside of India.
