Management Consulting Role - Technology Strategy - Manager Role

Position Requirements

Knowledge Preferred:

PwC's Technology Strategy practice is aimed at providing client solutions that are directly related to the CIO/CTO, managing/transforming business functions and providing diligence with respect to technologies involved. Our range of services includes delivery of client engagement in the following areas:

Cloud strategy:

- Cloud assessments: cloud readiness maturity assessment, planning and cloud solutions/platforms assessment, cloud migration planning, business case development, TCO (total cost of ownership) comparisons and vendor evaluation

- Cloud architecture definition and assessment: development of cloud reference architecture, target state cloud architecture definition and deployment strategy development

IT strategy and management:

- IT operating model and assessment, and IT organization design

- Business alignment and IT strategy and planning

- Development of current and future state application strategy and delivery roadmaps

- Digital transformation (IT maturity and strategy assessment, and future state roadmap development)

Enterprise architecture:

- Enterprise and solution architecture definition and assessment (applications, data, security, infrastructure, etc.)

- Development and assessment of specifications in accordance to which a solution is defined, managed and delivered

Digital Strategy:

- Development of digital strategies, improving process efficiencies and better planning of investments in the digital domain

- Experience working on RPA/ Intelligent automation CoE and operating model design, automation opportunity assessment, process and technology landscape assessment, industry benchmarking, automation business case, vendor assessment, digital proof of concepts/ pilot design

- Strong knowledge about digital trends, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Workflow automation, RDA/RPA, Intelligent automation, Cognitive technologies, Analytics and IoT

- Demonstrable understanding of core business processes including Finance, HR, IT, Sales & Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain

Skills Preferred:

The incumbent should be able to demonstrate proven and thorough knowledge or success in supporting large teams through the design and implementation of changes to strategy and operations (including people, processes, and technology changes) by:

- Working with partners/directors and lead teams to solve business issues and identify trends including the associated technology implications within one or multiple industries

- Ability to lead project work streams and working autonomously with minimal direction

- Experience in Enterprise Architecture capabilities such as blueprinting, solution architecture, architecture assessment, planning and cost estimations

- ITIL Lifecycle experience across any phase: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement

- Experience with cloud technologies and concerned architectures

- Knowledge of orchestration technologies and techniques

- Ability to describe technology solutions and usage models in business terms and demonstrate business value to clients

- Demonstrating ability to determine customer needs, identify use cases for a technology/ solution, conducting cost-benefit analysis and developing business case

- Experience working with process mining tools such as Celonis, Kofax etc. would be a plus

- Leading and supervising planning, generating information/data requests, management discussion agendas, developing client workshop content and the final deliverables

- Coaching and mentoring associates on and off engagements to deliver on high impact deliverables consistently

- Participating in staffing, resourcing, recruiting and other practice building activities in addition to engagement delivery

- Delivering significant business results that utilize strategic creative thinking and problem solving

- Ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members

- Communicating effectively (written and verbal) to various situations and audiences

Years of Experience:

PwC's MC team currently seeks managers with experience between 7 - 9 years. Relevant work experience will be considered based on the interview process. Experience in working with senior decision makers, or in managerial roles in tier 1 consulting firms preferred

Professional and Educational Background:

An MBA degree from a tier-1 institute with an undergrad from a technical field; past consulting experience would be an added plus.
