Job Overview:

The incumbent will work with the client and project teams to support global engagements from India in that driving company's strategic and operational initiatives, implementing innovative solutions, measuring results early and often, and ensuring performance meets the desired targets.

Job responsibilities mainly include providing clients a full range of hands-on, operationally focused consulting support, for both buyers and sellers. Within this role, the incumbent will cover operational aspects, including carve-out readiness and support, operational due diligence and restructuring, synergy assessment and delivery, day 1-100 plan, integration and assessment of carve-out/stand-alone costs and risks.

Job description:

- Work on client engagement teams executing Operational Due Diligence which support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions.

- Be responsible for assessing the client's state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, while identifying high-risk areas, unidentified issues and areas for overall improvement.

- Identify areas for operational improvement, including resolving integration issues Synergy assessment, Headcount and Facilities optimization etc.

- Effectively participate on teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.

Skills:

The candidate should have:

- Experience related to mergers and/or acquisitions transactions.

- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.

- Ability to make detailed assessments of operations or manufacturing infrastructure

- Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.

- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

- Position requires MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top business school, together with an undergraduate degree in engineering, arts and economics, sciences or business

- 3-5 years- experience in Consulting (preferably in M&A, Operations Due Diligence or related areas)
