Essential Experience :  - Preference is get a professional working BIG 4 or equivalent firms or is otherwise exposed to our type of Firm or professional services  - Should be a self-starter/work independently   - Has good verbal/written communication skills  - Good understanding of Laws and Regulations and drafting on regulatory matters.  - Analytical and critical analysis of the Regulatory affairs.  - Experience in working with the Regulators to draft and research on regulatory matters.  - Experience in working with the Government bodies for drafting briefing notes for the Parliament or other government bodies.  - Exposure / relationship with Illustrative list of legislation/ stakeholders sent to you  - Experience in handling clients on the related subject  Roles & Responsibilities :  - Evaluates regulatory and Public policy environment (PPRA) and developments in context of our Firm  - Identifies and has a plan of action relevant issues relating to PPRA and relevant stakeholders  - Maintains External Relationship Developmental Plan  - Assists in media management  - External and internal communication plan : Position papers, newsletters, global interactions for submissions before external stakeholders such as Ministries, Regulators, Business Chambers   - Identifying the actions for PwC India in a changing regulatory environment, communicating and ensuring compliance to them along with the regulatory partner  - Working with clients along with the client teams in identifying potential actions for them in changing regulatory environment  - Coordination with larger Firms and Global   - Assist Regulatory Contact Partner/Leader in adding value to the Firm  - Evaluating public policy and developments in the context of the firm.  - Responsible for Public Policy bi-monthly newsletter by monitor all emerging regulatory issues, news and development on Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs (PPRA) elements as identified and conduct keywords based search on web/online for those elements.  - Support in developing content for writing article/thought leadership, prepare background materials, research, best practices, and communication aids for addressing key regulatory issues.   - Responsible for managing the Public Policy Portal and creating point of Developing PPTs on various regulatory topics, design surveys and analyze the result thereof.  - Maintaining Minutes of Meetings with various stakeholders at Public Policy Portal and follow up on action items thereof.  Candidate Specifications:   Personal Skills:  - Good with presentations and documentation  - Excellent communication skills  - Ability to handle complex assignment independently  - Team player - Work in a large team with people from diverse backgrounds  - Ability to interact with client  - Ability to take ownership of a project and to accurately and efficiently produce results.  - Ability to communicate results and findings to non-statisticians  - A high level of accuracy and attention to detail  - Capability to work to deadlines and to plan your work  - Problem solving skills  - Self-starter
