Role: Associate Director / Vice President

Experience - Minimum 7 to 10 years of Prior experience in an investment banking role

Location - Mumbai

Responsibilities:

Strategic - Business development strategies for target sectors and clients. Collaborate with other businesses to identify larger business opportunities for the firm

Origination and P&L responsibility - responsibility for revenue generation and business acumen in appreciating deal potential, probability and resource requirements

Industry / Sector know-how - Develop a deep understanding of the industrials sector (includes Automotive, general industrials, business services, chemicals, logistics) with high M&A potential and building relationships with key players and decision makers in that sector.

Client engagement & relationships - Maintaining relationship with clients throughout the transaction and post closure for ensuring future business potential

Deal Ideation and Origination - Identify business opportunities and undertake necessary pitching activity / support Partner to source M&A and private equity advisory mandates

Execution of transactions - Responsibility for overall engagement management, including close involvement at key stages (e.g. initial mandate stage to build client confidence, marketing deal opportunity, support negotiations, coordinate documentation etc.)

Team Coaching - Manage, train and develop junior team members and cultivate strong skill sets within the team
