Job Purpose : Manager Finance : Direct Tax

Ensuring timely and accurate taxation compliances which among other things includes Corporate Income Tax, Advance tax, Tax Deduction at Source ("TDS") Compliances, managing tax litigations, Deferred/Current Tax accounting, Tax Audit, Tax Returns, Statutory books closure for taxation disclosures, tax assessments, appeal, litigation.

Responsibilities

- Ensure timely and accurately preparation of Current and Deferred Tax Provision Quarterly for all Entities of the group for ETR purposes and passing necessary entries in the books (including Return to Tax Provision true up/down).

- Ensure timely completion & filing of all corporate returns of the group ( e.g. Tax Audit, TP Reports/Certificates, Form 61Am and ITR for all entities).

- Ensure timely and accurately calculation of Advance tax, TDS, DDT,FTC for all Entities of the group

- Ensuring timely preparation of tax submissions for assessments/Appeal/Rectifications/appeal effect with tax office for the group.

- Ensure timely and accurately filing of TDS/TCS Returns for Non Salary categories.

- Manage tax litigation for all tax related matters of the group including Anti-Profiteering Note.

- Correct Tax disclosure in financials for CARO, Contingent Liability for the group.

- Tax Clause review in agreements and co-ordination with local and regional finance operation team for various tax related queries.

- Tax Expenses Provisions for all consultancy cost on monthly basis.

- Attending queries on foreign remittances and WHT applicability on regular basis.

- Attending tax litigations for various group entities locally as well as interstate

Desired Candidate Profile

- Technically sound and well versed with provisions of Income-tax Act & other relevant Acts.

- Excellent communication, presentation and drafting skill

- Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach

- Should be self-driven and highly motivated

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong Analytical/Numerical ability.

- Good interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and Self Starte

Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

- 4-8 years of experience in direct tax
