Job Purpose :

Issue timely and accurate quarterly and annual financial statements in the prescribed format along with notes to accounts, consolidation of the subsidiaries financials, related party transactions, segment reporting and other required disclosures. Co-ordination with Statutory and Internal auditors and getting the deliverables closed within timelines.

Responsible for submission of detailed monthly profit statements at Cinema, region and company level with key business indicators. Comparing the performance with Operating Budgets and last year actual. Variation analysis of each item of revenue and cost.


Key Result Areas :

External/ Statutory Reporting:

- Preparation of financial statement : Quarterly and annual

- Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial statements along with necessary re-grouping and re-classifications complying with the guidelines as per Ind AS, MCA and other regulatory.

List of major financials reports:

- Balance Sheet

- Statement of Profit and Loss

- Cash Flow Statement

- Change in Equity Statement

- Related Party Transactions

- Segment Report

- Filing of quarterly and annual financial results with SEBI

- Timely submission of SEBI financial results as per the prescribed format along with the notes/ disclosures.

- Preparation of consolidated financial statement of the Group after eliminating inter companies transactions along with necessary adjustments in the consolidated books as per the guidelines.

- Comply the requirement of the Statutory Auditors:

- Provide the audit schedules as per the required format for each items of the financial statements.

- Reconciliation of audit schedules with the financials

- Resolving the related queries.

- Preparation of additional disclosures statement

- Accounting of the acquisition and mergers

- Technical evaluation of various Ind AS and updates from MCA on accounting and Implementation of the same in the Company.

- Internal/ MIS Reporting:

- Preparation of monthly performance MIS

- Ensuring the timely completeness and accuracy of the monthly financial reports with the key indicators/ highlights of the month comprising the following details:

- Cinema, region and Company level operating and financial performance summary

- Comparison with the defined operating budgets and last year performance.

- Completion of book of accounts with necessary provisioning:

- Circulation of necessary functional report to the related departments:

- Re-classification or Re-allocation of Income/ Expenses

- Ensuring all the necessary re-classification and re-allocation has been done:

- Annual Operating plan (AOP) / Budgets:

Submission of the complied annual operating plan (AOP) or budgets with detailed analysis:

- Provide financial analyses as needed by the management:

- Implementation of MIS Tool: Tableau

What we are Looking for :

- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and reporting guidelines

- Knowledge of applicable IT skills such as advance excel and power point presentations.

- Qualified CA with relevant experience
