You can learn more about the organisation here - https://www.purpose.com About the role: - The Purpose team has identified multiple avenues to grow its business in the country, including working with local and international foundations, as well as India-based corporations seeking to drive social change, and others. - Keeping in mind their mission to help solve some of the world's biggest problems by creating movements to address them Purpose is seeking to hire an India Country Director to drive growth and support the development of the team. - The key tasks will be setting the strategy for the Indian market and building relationships with external stakeholders to help scale the organisation's impact. Key Responsibilities: - In partnership with the global senior leadership team, set strategy and direction for the Indian market, aligned with Purpose's global strategy - Manage and grow the India customer base - Provide a summary of the stakeholder landscape to inform future proposals - Build relationships with external stakeholders, including government officials - Coach, develop, and grow the team Does this sound like you?: - Minimum of 10 years of senior business development experience in India, with a strong track record of achievement, ideally in a social impact context - Experience building partnerships with corporates, philanthropists, and government - Strong awareness and expertise in at least one of Purpose's campaign focus areas - Track-record of having built and sustained a team culture Salary offered will be commensurate with a candidate's qualification and experience.
