Job overview :
- We are looking to hire a consumer research manager who has the knack of understanding people and gauging when their demands, tastes, and behaviour changes.
- Someone who loves exploring and deep diving into consumers mindset to plan actionable strategies for the brand.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Constantly collaborate with the brand and products teams at Purplle to understand their business issues/concerns and objectives to plan relevant consumer studies.
- Design and execute research independently or with the help of an agency partner to decode the customer pulse and disseminate findings within the org.
- Lead & execute independent research charters to help business teams with data-driven + consumer intelligence-led decision making.
- Design specific research methods such as questionnaires, discussion guides, feedback questionnaires using google forms etc.
- Analyse and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus group transcripts/videos
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
- Conduct consumer calls regularly to gauge feedback , understand consumers and to build knowledge on consumer behaviour.
- Maintain, Manage and execute a panel of consumers for regular products testing work done inhouse
Qualifications and skill sets :
- Expertise with both qualitative and quantitative research practices.
- Comfort with driving projects grounds up, executing it independently with internal resources - develop Qres/Guides/conduct interviews & work out the analysis plan.
- Ability to independently execute research requirements end-to-end from decoding the objective, scoping & dissemination with leadership.
- Exposure to the Online/tech industry would be an added advantage.
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, planning, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to self-start, contribute and work in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Has led large scale research projects (Qual &/or Quant) during the previous experience.
- Drive usage of new tech-based tools to bring efficiency & effectiveness in research modules.
- Experience in understanding methodologies around exploratory research, user lifecycles, NPS and a general understanding of entire research partner ecosystem, working with a broad set of stakeholders.
Ideal years of exp : About 4 to 5 years of experience in any research agency or client side handling consumer research.
Preferred Qualification : MBA.
