Candidate should have FMCG Experience Mandatory - Leading the entire purchase and packaging development for the main product and ancillary product segment - Identifying improvement of packaging material for existing products in terms of material structure, aesthetics, cost etc. - Conducting stability study on the product packaging - Sourcing and development of new vendors for packaging materials - Monitoring procurement of packaging material through proper negotiation for cost and lead time through cost break- up and process analysis - Conceptualizing and developing packaging for existing / new products - Identifying and developing latest technology in the field of packaging material/system - Drawing and implementation of Purchase policies under the approval of the management, and maintenance and updation of the Vendor data - Providing innovative solutions for product protection and delivery - Ensuring completion and maintenance of all packaging related documents - Evaluating current vendors and analyzing cost-effectiveness or leakages using QA methodology - Driving cost reduction projects along with Marketing team to deliver product margins objectives required to aid production of existing and new product development. - To manage the day-to-day activities of the Purchase department to ensure regular supply of Raw Materials. - Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers (probably turnkey including design) who are aligned to the company's needs - To monitor 3rd Party contract manufacturing operations, build more partners &amp; ensure quality control &amp; SOP adherence. - Investigating and analyzing to strengthen prevention of complaints and cost leakage related to market complaints and competitive market - Build and deploy distribution strategy (route to market) including transportation, warehousing and last mile delivery to support distribution growth - Manage logistics from supply plants to distribution centers across the country - Responsible for complete warehousing and Super Stockist Network management across the country for all products - Manage transportation from plant/distribution centers to a final customer including route/vehicle planning for both modern and traditional trade to optimize customer service and freight - Use advanced methodologies for operational planning that optimizes Supply Chain Operations` assets to achieve strategic and tactical deliverables
