The Director- HR Role will be a trusted advisor and partner to Business Leaders and other stakeholders. The position leads and facilitates the development of culture and key capabilities for the organization and is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent available.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- The custodian of organization culture: fostering and developing a compelling and unique culture that reflects the creative and entrepreneurial nature of the business that will underpin every area of the company's operations.

- Developing the people strategy and executing against this to drive an innovative, high growth global business. Among other things, this will involve the development of effective Talent Acquisition process, Talent engagement, retention & training programs, and Performance management system.

- Working as an effective member of the leadership team, with ownership of overall People function.

- The management of a team that oversees all day-to-day HR and Talent Acquisition functions across all offices (recruitment, development, on-boarding, remuneration and benefits, compliance, employees safety & welfare etc)

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

- S/he will have experience within the core functions of HR particularly Talent Acquisition, Talent Engagement, Compensation and Performance management. The successful candidate will have learned stellar HR systems at an established academy organization, and thrived in a fast-paced, nimble, high growth environment.

- The successful candidate will have been involved with driving major HR programs in a services organisation, and will be able to demonstrate the development of a high-performance culture. This person will have a track record of threading culture throughout business processes, creating places where people love to work, grow their careers, and be a part of business success.

- S/he will have experience working with leadership team to draw out points of view and help make them part of the organizational reality. The candidate must exhibit superior learning agility and intellectual curiosity, as well as the ability to inspire creative thinking at all levels; an understanding of a software services business would be an advantage.

- A strong communicator and keen listener, with an ability to use those skills to garner trust among all employees, facilitate interaction within the company and influence outcomes

- Conveys genuine belief in the organization's ability to succeed despite any potential obstacles

- Understands how to provide a practical HR view to support & enable the broader corporate strategy

- Acts as a trusted adviser on wide ranging issues that affect people and culture
