Purchase Manager - Telecom

Resp may include:

- forecast levels of demand for services and products;

- keep a constant check on stock levels;

- conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;

- liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;

- build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers;

- negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided;

- process payments and invoices;

- develop a purchasing strategy;

- evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors

- Contact suppliers in order to negotiate contracts

- Ensures timely delivery of goods

- Implements storage procedures for inventory items

- Perform quality checks

Requirements

- PG/MBA Degree in operations/SCM

- A minimum of 6-8 years experience in Purchase

- Understanding of Supply Chain

- Good at Networking,Good Business Instincts, Good Negotiator,

- Financial Analysis Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization; including effective presentation skills

Salary offered: 10 - 12 LPA
