We have been retained exclusively by our client i.e. a leading FMCG company to attract and hire candidate for the below mentioned position.

Job Details:

To take charge of Dairy procurement of Raw Material and Packaging Material requirements, across pan India production operations.

Key Responsibility.

1. Work out procurement plan based on the sales forecast & BOM

2. Review of purchase status on a weekly basis from all the plants as well as company owned co-packers and alert on any surprises or variations

3. Exploring various possibilities on saving potential, to move in market place to find the landed prices, especially for ingredients mentioned above.

4. Consolidating tender prices on regular basis and have tap on tender release dates

5. Prepare the purchase order; inform accounts for execution of RTGS and other formalities.

6. Negotiation for discounts on material & monitoring the market to set the primary & secondary rates

7. Ensuring the integrity of the Material Manual and updating changes if any

8. Quarterly review of the rates across the country for any variations

9. Working out the basis of cost and getting into value engineering for having a better hold on negotiations

10. Meeting vendors and developing new and better vendors while retaining the vendors that have already been developed

11. Final negotiations with all the vendors to work out the best possible rates.

12. Streamlining SAP and ensuring its smooth functioning

13. Ensuring minimum variance of Material, Chemicals & Consumables at all the locations

14. Centralized negotiation of rates for purchase of materials, scrap rates etc.
