Purchase Manager - Agri Raw Material

Role Objective:

The person will be responsible for handling agri raw materials like sugar / milk etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing organization's purchasing strategy.

2. Review and finalize procurement strategy.

3. Vendor management & vendor development.

4. Effectively handle Inventory Management.

5. Sending inquiries to vendors for different raw and packaging materials.

6. Strategic Buying decisions for all key commodities

7. Stakeholder management for cross functional alignment towards organization goals - availability and working capital management

8. Working towards cost reduction & Waste control Methods & Expiry Management.

9. Preparation and management of budgets - presentations on adherence to management

10. Coordinate with vendors for material delivery post of PO / Billing & Reconciliation afterwards.

11. Vendor audits and ensuring compliance

12. Roll out best practices in spend management

13. Key participant in all cost management initiatives
