Position Name - Purchase Head

Location - Sahibabad

Job Responsibilites:-

- Identifying and Developing Potential Vendors and Controlling all requisite activities such as Tendering, Pre-bid Meeting, Techno-commercial evaluation, Negotiation, Recommendation, Ordering, Inspection, Expediting & Tracking, Reporting, Logistics and Delivery, Payment Follow up, Vendor Performance etc.

- Directing the development and implementation of key Procurement Plans, Providing Input in Finalization & Enrichment of the Material Specifications / Scope of Work / Special Conditions of Contracts / Preparation of Schedule of Rates / splitting the contracts. Identify & Develop Talents in the team.

- Co-ordinate with execution department (Projects) for the requirement and provide the required material on time.

- Developing new vendors, by evaluating their credentials

- Managing & directing a team of professionals, involving in hands on techno-commercial negotiations, furnishing MIS reports, coordination with Project, engineering, site stores and construction team, ensuring value engineered items are procured within budget, expediting and resolving post order issues with vendors, coordination with logistics, custom clearance groups, banking / accounts, Ensuring payment release to vendors, as per agreed terms.
