- Assist to develop an annual business plan and contribute to achieve targets.
- Plan and execute an annual marketing plan tailored to each customer category: industrial, wholesalers, retailers and craftsman end-users.
- According to the priority of focus products, plan and execute intensive promotional campaigns.
- Co-ordinate new product development, launch and follow-up.
- Develop and execute a cost-effective annual communications plan including public relations (bakers association, trade schools, trade magazines …) and advertising.
- Establish the information flow of products and services through regular newsletters, new releases and whatever effective form of communication.
- Develop and produce cost-effectively sales tools: collateral, visual and written materials. Ensure these to be distributed through the right internal/external channels.
- Make sure marketing budget expenses are under control.
- Co-ordinate with Sales, Innovation Center (Technical Advisors’ team), Product Development and Customer Service to achieve overall company goals.
- Collect and update the relevant market data and statistics for research and analysis to develop the market opportunities and/or up-date the product mix.
- Establish and maintain the integrated database and maximise benefits of the system.
- Establish a system to monitor and review customer satisfaction.
Essential:
- Graduate in Marketing, with at least five years experience in marketing food or food ingredients in business to business or consumer markets.
- Good command of written and spoken english, good communicator and team player.
- Creative, energetic, accurate, strong curiosity.
- Change driver, self-starter, entrepreneur, visionary, intuitive thinker.
- Strong business acumen.
- Decisive / incisive – take charge / move quickly.
- Resourceful multi-tasker.
- Manages ambiguity well / works in an unstructured environment.
- Strategic-oriented : Capacity to participate to the elaboration of the local Marketing strategy of the subsidiary.
- Support to the commercial activities of the Global Markets/Subsidiary.
- Expertise in Marketing techniques B to C and B to B & ability to work with outside Marketing Service companies.
- Capacity to influence others and to negotiate (internal and external).
- Technical Product and range knowledge; functionality of the ingredients.
- Operations : Knowledge of production, distribution, purchasing, costing, R&D, Q&A and food safety.
- Finance : Analysis of accounts, budget process, reporting procedures.
- Meeting techniques and management.
