1) Provides leadership for the Public Affairs activities.
2) Scope of the role is to interact with governments, regulatory authorities, and industry associations (FICCI, AISMA, Assocham) where those associations help us with interactions with governments and regulatory authorities (FSSAI etc).
3) Define action plans for local public & regulatory affairs and launch them for all sectors except pharma. Responsible for planning and implementing global policies, practices and strategy for this functions.
4) Attend and participate actively in local discussions with stakeholders to influence, edit, review modifications to norms and regulations.
5) Identify and maintain relationships with IMEA key external stakeholders amongst governments and regulatory authorities in coordination with the IMEA Leadership and the Global Public Affairs team.
6) Excellent knowledge of working with Governmental departments, Statutory authorities and Regulatory bodies and other relevant bodies.
7) Be aligned with the Global Public Affairs policy, strategy and actions plans.
8) Be in charge of the IMEA Public Affairs Actions Plan and Budget.
