PTC India - Manager - Consulting - Power Distribution

Job Requirements:

- Providing technical services/ inputs as per project requirement for power distribution projects

- Provide high level technical expertise when applying electrical engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of power distribution projects.

- Planning, budgeting and estimation of schemes for power distribution projects

- Understanding of distribution system studies, load flow studies etc shall be added advantage

- Preparation/ review of power distribution pre-feasibility report/ feasibility report/ schemes/DPRs for electrification, loss reduction and system improvements, etc.

- Understanding of overhead / underground system of various distribution voltage levels including 33kV, 11kV, LT etc

- Conduct/ provide technical guidance for survey, site/field visit

- Preparation and implementation of SOPs for power distribution utilities

- Preparing proposals, making client presentation and negotiating the contracts

- Tender preparation/ bid process management for power distribution projects.

- Review of technical design, specifications, drawings/ design etc prepared by vendors/consultants/ client etc

- Apply technical codes/rules/ regulations for delivering projects/ provide recommendations to client

- Ensuring quality assurance of project deliverables

- Gain and share understanding of prospect's organization, processes, business strategies, product or service offerings and decision-making structures

- Ensure completion of contractual compliances required at different stages on project site

- Having good communication skills and able to communicate project scope, goals, deliverables and progress to key stakeholders on regular basis

- Enthusiastic about contributing to our growing business, its brand, processes and client base

- Maintain, develop and retain the highest appropriate standard of technical skill for power distribution projects

- Commit to continual professional development and learning on relevant technological and business matters.

Essential:

Qualifications: B.E./B. Tech (Electrical) with MBA from Premier institutions

Experience:

- Preferably 6-8 years of experience in Power Distribution and consulting

- Hands-on/supervision experience in distribution system O&M or Project planning/execution or relevant areas is desired

- Possess good presentation and report writing skills

- Shall have experience of working with Government, power utilities in India
