Role Title : Corporate Development & Strategy

Reporting to : MD & CEO

Designation & Level : VP/SVP/EVP

Corporate Development & Strategy :

ROLE OBJECTIVE :

The purpose of this role is to play a lead role in a) plan and conceptual the overall brand management strategy b) identifying, planning and executing the long term strategy plans to meet organisational objectives along with the senior leadership team and ensure these are translated into the medium and annual operating plans by all businesses and functions. Person would be working with businesses and functions to ensure each one contributes to achieve organisational objective.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Corporate Development :

Monitoring of specific initiatives carried out by the organisation from time to time, viz. :

- Update senior leadership team about the key developments/ changes in relation to power and infrastructure sector and identify the opportunities and risks in long term.

- Identify potential for breaking into new markets with existing products or developing complementary products that will allow this type of expansion. Presenting the key findings to senior leadership team.

- Design and lead marketing campaign through various modes to showcase services offerings by PFSL in the target market segment. Analyse market research and incorporate any potential entry segment or customer advice or complaints into market strategies.

- Design and circulate all marketing collateral to be used internally or externally, such as company website, Boucher sales kit, internal newsletter, branded stationary etc.

- Responsible for revenue modelling and financial risk analysis of business opportunities.

- In conjunction with MD & CEO, monitor the various KRAs for the organisation and report at pre-set frequency to MD & CEO.

- Monitoring the progress of the organisational initiatives/ strategies. Periodic publishing the progress status to MD & CEO.

Corporate Communication :

- Develop and implement strategic plan for the corporate communication dept. to facilitate the achievement of the organisation's vision.

- Devise and manage budgets relating to marketing, communications and other related activities for the year in accordance with annual strategy.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as industry, media, vendors/ partners.

- Build Brand awareness through participation in industry related events & forums such as investor/ analyst meet & seminars.

- Plan media outreach strategies through PR- s, advertisement, internal and external communication initiatives etc.

Strategy :

- Formulate strategic business plan and operational policies to align organisational performance with strategy goals.

- Ensure strategic decisions are align with annual business plans through all levels of the organisation.

- Responsible for communicating and implementing a company's strategy internally and externally so that all employee, partners, suppliers and contractors understand the company-wide strategic plan and how it carries out the company's overall goal.

- Lead social organisation wide initiatives like defining afresh SOPs and DOAs of all businesses, reviewing risk matrix and insurance gap analysis across the organisation.

- Responsible for ensuring departmental strategic planning projects reflect the organisation strategic priorities.

- Partnering with institutional leadership, special committees and consultants to support execution of key initiatives.

- Lead efforts to mobilize and manage teams of individuals charged with executing strategies.

- Work towards providing information to help build organisational strategy and facilitate communication between teams, team members and stakeholders.

- Responsible for maintaining healthy professional relationship with internal customer and external consultant vendors/ partners to strategy formulation and execution.

- Monitoring the progress of the organisational initiatives/ strategies. Periodic publishing the progress status to MD & CEO.

- Formalizing the company's strategic-planning processes, forging new working relationships and synergies across the organisation, and establishing greater transparency and accountability for those people carrying out the company's strategy.

- Evaluate the major key performance indicators of the business processes across the organisation and report to MD & CEO on quarterly basis.

- Institutionalize department related process to improve overall team efficiency and create a world class organisation.

- Create and participate in knowledge creation within the organisation.

Clients, Vendors,Consultants, Rating Agencies, Industry Bodies

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

Qualification : Graduation + CA/ ICWA/ PGDM/ MBA

Experience : 15-20 Years
