Responsibilities :  - Good communication skills  - Graduate / MBA  - Willing to work in UK shifts  - Provide designated business areas / initiatives with proactive support to determine and secure optimum partnerships or external sources of supply through executing appropriate processes and skills.   - Support business personnel, execute all requirements of Prudential's contract frameworks to process and contribute to deals principles formulation whilst minimizing financial and regulatory risk.  - In conjunction with Sourcing colleagues ensure commercially sound contractual cover is put in place for all third party arrangements within the role holder's portfolio and the cover protects the company's long-term interests.  - Ensure commercially sound contractual cover is in place for all projects within the role-holders portfolio.  - Compliance to ensure that you understand and adhere to Prudential's Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.  - Financial Controls ensure all expenditure commitments (orders, contracts, budgets etc) and all payments are properly authorized, controlled and monitored, in accordance with Prudential UK delegated authority requirements. The responsibilities of expenditure authorisers are documented in the Prudential UK Financial Procedures Manual.  - Generate regular MI for the department covering activities undertaken within the role (as required and agreed with the Sourcing Procurement Manager).  - Assist with the continuous development and maintenance of best practice and process, ensuring the business understands and utilizes said processes, as required.  - Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.  Professional Qualifications, knowledge and experience :  - Some experience in a procurement / contracts environment.  - Awareness of contract law, drafting and evaluation, so as to support the development of commercially sound contracts.  - Some commercial negotiation skills & experience.  - PC skills ability to use PC software packages, e.g. word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail.  - Awareness of financial and regulatory risk assessment.  - Some experience of supplier and market evaluation.
