Role Overview:
We are looking for a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization's operations and supply chain.
- Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way, improving operational management systems, processes and best practices whenever and wherever needed, fix the problems arising in the operations and supply chain of the company
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Monitor all warehouses and logistics operations of the company
- Identify problem areas and develop solution
- Implement the solution and ensure it is sustained - Travel if needed to the problem location and resolve the issues
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Help in Purchase materials, Plan inventory and Oversee warehouses efficiency
- Develop dashboards for the management on the Operations and Supply Chain status. Work with Tech team to get these automated or tech enabled
- Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives for the operations function and ensure they are aligned to the overall organizational objectives
- Help in managing budgets and forecasts for operations function
- Perform quality controls and monitor KPIs of warehouses and logistics/SC teams
Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Find ways to increase quality of client service
Required Experience & Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role - minimum experience of 5 years
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Outstanding organisational skills - ability to work with different functions to get the work done
- Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
