Roles and Responsibilities:

- Identity and Establish a network of National and Regional Freight providers/ transporters

- Negotiate shipping fees and other charges with freight partners for B2C and B2B (FTL/PTL) shipments

- Benchmark existing freight/couriers rates vs competition

- Ensure proper vendor onboarding

- Work closely with, technology and operations team to streamline reporting and KPI tracking

- Plan and supervise the shipments from FCs / Warehouses to the end-user (B2C or B2B)

- In case of frequent client concerns, escalate the issue with the freight providers to ensure timely resolution

Desired Candidate's Profile:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Freight Management and/or Freight Business Development

- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain management processes and functions

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

- Ability to work with cross functional teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines

- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word)
