We have an exciting position opened up for Learning and Development Specialist in our HR team.

Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing and facilitating training programs. The role holder will work very closely with the business to understand the learning needs. The individual will be responsible to bridge the identified gap by designing and facilitating related techno-functional (E.g. Audit Report Writing, P2P Risks and Controls, Internal Audit, IIA Standards) and soft skills (E.g. Presentation Skills, Communication Skills) programs. The best-fit individual is expected to be passionate about developing personnel by utilizing his/her expertise in the related field.

Role Requirements :

- Plan the monthly calendar of Training's

- Work closely with Directors and Managing Directors of the difference practices to assess/understand the learning needs

- Establish learning objectives and outcomes by utilizing design principles

- Design training material in-line with the needs identified

- Ownership of the portfolio of training courses, ensuring trainer's notes, session plans, visual aids, training activities and handouts are up to date

- Solicit feedback from the attendees of the training

- Evaluation and modification of existing training content, techniques and materials

- Take nominations from managers for their respective teams for the learning session planned

- Inform the nominated personnel about the session organized and block their calendars

- Deliver techno-functional and soft skills training's at each location as planned in the learning calendar

- Create a learning environment by regularly conducting the learning sessions

- Create assessments for reinforcement, including situation and scenario-based questions

- Provide post training follow up and learner desk-side support as needed to support learning transfer

- Provide regular updates to the management of the status of all learning and development activities, completion of milestones and potential conflicts

Desired Profile :

- Minimum 6+ years experience in a related field, preferably in internal audit, consulting, advisory, professional services and/or industry

- 2 - 3 years experience in training personnel on subjects related to Internal Audit and Soft Skills

- Certified Train the Trainer (From a renowned institute)

- Certified from Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and time management skills. Excellent delivery skills and technical knowledge.

- Demonstrates creative thinking

- Strong content development skills. Additional, e-learning development skills will be useful.

- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in times of high stress. Works well in a team oriented environment as well as independently.

- Ability to multi-task, enjoys travelling and meeting new people. Open to travel to conduct training sessions at various locations.
