Protiviti - Senior Consultant - Internal Audit - CPC Team

We have a challenging opportunity opened up for the role of Senior Consultant in our Internal Audit- CPC team.

The Senior Consultants identify business opportunities within their immediate client's business or across an industry. They are responsible for growing existing accounts and attracting new business.

Senior Consultants develop a deep understanding of client's business and build lasting relationships with client personnel. They demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry, understand client's perspective and become the de-facto - go-to-person. They are responsible for serving clients and ensuring outstanding quality execution of projects.

Senior Consultants develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. Basis their credibility, they are able to attract and retain the best of talent. They have a multi-dimensional role encompassing client delivery, solution and business development and practice enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand the client's requirements and assist the manager in writing effective client proposals that articulate the specialized domain skills.

- Traveling in Middle east region for client servicing, assist in Client meetings, analyze the facts, establish hypotheses and derive conclusions.

- Deliver concise and timely deliverables that are tailored to the client's business and requirements.

- Conduct various operational and technical reviews of capital projects and construction programs as part of the engagement team to identify risks and opportunities where internal controls can be enhanced and developed.

- Maintain client relationships and deliver as per client's expectations.

- Provide expertise and professional advice to the organization on compliance and system / process controls to ensure implementation of an apt audit program.

- Prepare project plan, work program, perform data analyses, document working papers, etc. as required in execution of engagement.

- Prepare timely deliverables as per approved project plans for review by the Manager.

- Prepare client presentations (for varied target audiences -CXOs, Board of Directors, Audit Committees

Desired Profile:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E., B.Tech.) with specialization in relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil,Construction etc.) or Architecture.

- 3-6 years of industry experience along with Master in Business Administration (Finance, Strategy, Operations, General Management).

- Should have prior experience of working in any of the following sectors : Real Estate, Capital Projects, Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) or Construction Sectors.

- Knowledge of design, engineering, construction and project management principles & practices.

- Experience in construction/project cost estimation and quantity surveying, budgeting and accounting.

- Understanding of project planning, controls, QA/QC, contract administration, procurement and construction / project risk management.

- Good written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations.

- Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner.
