Protiviti - Senior Consultant - Data Analytics

Key responsibilities:

- Understand requirements, design & deploy formats, follow up with business development team, analyze and verify data integrity, query and mine data sets to discover transaction patterns.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiatives. Understand the client need for analytics and suggest appropriate analytical solution.

- Analyze of large volumes of data using ACL/R/ETL or other statistical software package is preferred. Learning new tools and techniques, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering quality reports for auditors.

Key Personal Attributes:

- 3-4 years of experience in Data analytics & related projects using ACL/R/MS-Excel/SAS/SQL.

- Extensive scripting and debug knowledge using ACL (ACL Analytics Desktop & ACL Exchange).

- Knowledge of Process, Compliance, Internal Controls, Financial Audits using CAAT Tools like ACL,R, MS-Excel.

- Knowledge in object oriented programming such as C++ / C# / Java.

- Expertise in SQL, MS Excel-Access in audit techniques domain required in addition to ACL.

- Ability to demonstrate independence and integrity in decision making and business judgment.

- Knowledge of Telecom/Banking/Oil & Gas domain preferred.

- A good blend of creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems.

- Ability to work under pressure. Mature, proactive and displays initiative. Manages own and others time well.

Desired Profile :

- Bachelor's degree is compulsory, Master's Degree is desirable.

- Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs. This may require travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Second language skills and international business experience will be useful.

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in data analytics related to internal audit.

- Strong inter-personnel, analytical and management skills
