Protiviti - Senior Consultant - Credit Risk - Financial Services

Key Responsibilities :

- Understanding the client's requirements and writing clear client proposals that articulate the specialized domain skills.

- Conducting interviews with clients, analysing the facts, establishing hypotheses, & deriving conclusions.

- Delivering concise deliverables that are tailored to the client's business, and requirements, in a timely fashion.

- Track all new financial risk management related regulatory requirements (RBI, SEBI etc) and assist in developing client solutions to enable the Firm's Go to Market Strategy.

- Independently execute assignments. Typical assignments will include Basel Credit Risk, System Implementation for Credit Risk, Credit Risk Analytics, Credit Process Re-engineering etc.

- Establish good relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective.

Desired Profile :

- Candidates with 4-6 years experience in Banking and financial risk management, preferably in consulting, advisory, professional services and/or industry.

- Post graduate in finance, economics, statistics or allied disciplines

- Experience of project management or leading multiple work-streams is an added advantage

- Experience of dealing with middle-senior client stakeholders

Experience in at-least one of :

- Basel Credit Risk- Standardized and IRB advisory

- System Implementation for Basel-II Credit Risk

- Credit Risk Analytics

- Multi-disciplinary skill set (in addition to Credit Risk, one or more of Operational Risk, market Risk, ALM, IFRS 9 etc.) is an added advantage

- Strong internal personnel, analytical skills and management skills.

- Good oral and written communication skills including report writing

- Able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress. Open to travel as per client requirements. Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

- Able to multi-task and travel (India and International) as necessary to meet client needs.
