Key Responsibilities
- Design advanced analytic solutions (optimization, big data, visual analytics, predictive modeling) for different industries.
- Design analytics tests to support audit activities, including Audits, Continuous Monitoring, and Risk Assessments.
- Develop requirements in collaboration with the Business Team, design, code, test, and analyze results using tools such as SAS, ACL, SQL, MS Excel, MS Access and Tableau.
- Develop and improve current analytics service models and coverage in support of audit activities.
- Collaborate with peer Data Analytics team members in sharing ideas to add value to the audit department.
- Develop innovative, re-usable tools, scripts and solutions that can be leveraged by the Business and Audit Analytics teams.
- Perform data analysis as needed using various techniques (statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and forensics review) to reach and support conclusions.
- Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to assist the team in creating the most efficient and effective data strategies.
- Recommend solutions as part of planning to help execute audit tests by providing the ability to automate full-population testing, sampling, and identifying exception testing.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Technology and MBA.
- 8+ years of related experience, combination of risk, control, or audit and data analytics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lead a team of qualified individuals.
- Domain knowledge of technology infrastructure and associated risk and controls in BFSI & Oil & Gas environment are a plus.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets, drawing conclusions and reporting findings.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering sustainable analytical solutions and processes.
- Experience with basic concepts of data querying, data mining, data visualization and reporting.
- Familiarity (at least intermediate expertise) with some or all of the following: SAS, ACL, Tableau, TOAD, SQL, Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability.
- A high level of professional maturity and the ability to work/deliver with limited supervision in a geographically distributed andmulti-cultural environment.
- Excellent partnership and influencing skills and the ability to be effective in a matrix environment.
- Proven ability to oversee several tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with a track record in creative and successful problem-solving.
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvements and demonstrate independence and integrity in decision making and business judgement.
- Should demonstrate ability to be flexible in learning new tools and techniques, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering quality reports for auditors.
- Prepared to travel internationally as required.
