Chief Executive Officer

We are looking for CEO position for one of our client into online education services provider.

Core Functions :

- Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and update the plan to sync with market developments.

- Build a fundraising network using personal contacts, direct mail, special events, and foundation support.

- Lead the company's fund raising activities to meet the requirements of company's growth.

- Oversee relations with foreign operations of parent company and its affiliates and evaluate the operating and financial performance of activities as a result of such relations.

- Liaise on such foreign operations for expanding the profitability of the company and/to contributing to the profitability of the entire consortium.

- Manage budgeting activities and reporting on the financial and operational performance to the Board of Directors.

- Direct the development of commercial strategies to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.

- Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

- Identify acquisition and merger or JV opportunities that would enhance the market positioning of the company.

- Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.

- Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.

- Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.

- Promote the company through written articles and personal appearances at conferences and on radio and TV.

- Represent the company at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions.

- Promote the company to local, regional, national, and international constituencies.

- Present company report at Annual Stockholder and Board of Director meetings.

- Other duties as assigned.

Organizational Alignment :

- Reports to the Board of Directors/MD.

Who we are looking for:

- Experience in the following domains is absolutely essential:

- Strategic planning and execution on strategies

- Financial planning and resource allocation to achieve financial objectives

- Fund raising and negotiating related T&Cs. Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources

- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures

- Ability to develop and deliver presentations

- Running internet based start-ups with back-office support operations. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects

The following skills/background is required :

- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

- Bachelors in Business Administration or Finance or Engineering. 10 years of experience in a leadership role

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel

Skills/background in the following areas is a plus :

- Public relations - Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities

- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering. Work experience in an internet start-up

Experience working in multi-cultural environments.
