Manager (Business Risk Advisory)

JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

- Responsible for serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Managers develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery.

- The manager is responsible for understanding their client’s business and demonstrating technical competence in their product group and industry.

- Managers develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. Managers would also be responsible for business development.

ABILITY TO TRAVEL

- Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments, approx. 50%

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

- Chartered Accountant/MBA-Finance (CA preferred)

- 5+ years post qualification experience in a related field (Business Risk), preferably in professional services and/or industry

- Good academic record

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment required

- Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs

- Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently

- Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

- Demonstrated excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills

- Must have ability to multi-task

- Excellent project management and client relationship skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Proven Business Development skills

- Excellent time management skills

- Demonstrated mentoring and people development skills

- Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Understanding of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT)

- Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting

- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
