Job Description: Makaan has thousands of agents providing liquidity of properties on the Marketplace. Out of these agents, Makaan hand-pics a select few and award them with M+ badge. This badge is awarded to an elite group of sellers who exhibit a very high quality of service to the customers. M-plus agents have many unique benefits and responsibilities. M+ badge is awarded to top 2-3% agents in any given city for an initial period of 6 months during which additional support is extended to these agents. At the end of the tenure, the performance is reviewed.

Role

As Senior Manager / Associate Director M+ agents, you will head a team of bright young people responsible for managing this elite group of agents.

The role will involve, but not limited to, revenue accountability, managing and improvement of Seller Score (SS), delivery of services as part of M+ promise etc. This is a team management role that involves managing a team of Relationship Managers to achieve these objectives.

The overall objective of the M+ agent team is to moderate agent behaviors so that home buyers have a positive experience resulting into maximizing property transaction.

You will strategize, plan & implement programs to ensure that sellers show an improved performance and revenue.

Agent quality management is a major gap area on the online real estate space and excellence here, can really help differentiate us from other sites.

You will use technology to manage agents of diverse background from across the country. You will look at best agent quality checks systems from across verticals and geographies and implement them in the Indian context.

Responsibilities

Revenue achievement & improvement from elite M+ agents

Take required action based on SS to ensure, marketplace rewards good seller behaviour and provide enough opportunities to sellers with lower score to improve.

Identify gaps in agent knowledge and behavior that are preventing him from doing property transactions. Running programs that will help him overcome these gaps and maximize transactions and revenue. This may include on ground agent training and workshops.

Creating case studies of exceptional contributors & featuring them on the site will be part of the responsibility.

Use of technology to ensure monthly dashboard management for sellers.

Working closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sellers Acquisition and Accreditation teams to create synergies leading to a highly rewarding experience for home buyers.

Being accountable for improvement in overall score for M+ agents for city, region and for the whole marketplace.

Making sure that M+ agents are engaged with the platform and benefiting from it.

Desired Profile Requirements:

Management Graduate from top business school (an Engineer + MBA preferred).

Around 6-10 years of total experience with 2-3 years in managing agent revenue and relationship.

Exposure to online marketplace will be an added advantage.

Prior exposure to product management & analytics will be a huge positive.

Innovative and capable of out-of-the-box thinking.

Able to create value using good business judgement.

Detail oriented, however, does not lose the big picture of final product and time to market.

Strong results orientation is able to focus and deliver results & revenue.

Excellent problem solving skills coming up with simple solutions to complex problems.

Team Player ability to drive consensus, leverage synergies from cross functional teams.

Willing to work out of Delhi NCR (especially Noida & Gurgaon).
