ROLE : - Finance Head/Finance Controller What does this role hold for you- ?? - This is a leadership role for a Digital Real Estate Company. The incumbent will play a strategic, financial and operational thought leadership driven role along with the team. You will have a critical role in leading the financial accounting &amp; reporting, Planning &amp; Analysis and Taxation for the organization along with the team. You will be involved in strategic decision making process as for different business units while the organization grows leaps and bounds. - You along with your team will work closely with the business leaders to drive forecasting and planning during budgeting cycle and monitor these budgets across the year and provide critical inputs to the business units to drive efficiency improvements. In this role you will also mentor and develop team members, helping create a world-class team that goes deeper than just about anyone else in order to drive big results. - You should be hands on with the fundamentals of finance, accounts, financial planning, annual planning, budget planning, direct &amp; indirect taxation, highly analytical and a good team leader. The position will be based out of Gurgaon. Key role: - Be the strategic business partner to business leaders and other stakeholders in the organization - Ensure effective financial management: responsible for performing all financial tasks and oversight necessary to achieve the mission and help execute growth plans - Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the region including profit and loss reports, and monitoring of regional and cash flow budgets - Oversee the financial accounting and ensure robust controls across various financial / accounting related processes - Ensuring smooth monthly &amp; Quarterly closing of books with in the set timelines and analysis of Monthly P&amp;L and Balance Sheet for management reporting - Oversee the business planning process and partner with the business leader in providing them strategic inputs to align with the overall goals of the organization and bring financial discipline. Create financial model for long range planning in the business - Managing Internal Risk Control Matrix around Process / system controls - Participate in fund raising process and drive due diligence as a finance leader - Oversee the taxes and compliances in the organization - Manage the process of internal audit as well as external audit and ensure timely closure of audits as per the timelines - Ensuring timely and accurate investors reporting - Manage a large team of 20-25 people and create a motivated team who takes the ownership of deliveries in time. Responsible for Annual Team appraisals, Career pathing &amp; Talent Review with Leadership Education / work experience requirements: - CA in Finance mandatory - Significant functional competence, and credible leadership experience, playing both operational and strategic roles in the finance arena - Strong background and experience in A/R, A/P, Accounting, FP&amp;A and taxes - People management experience - hiring, mentoring, building, and managing a team - Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency - Think strategically and then execute - the models we build aid in decision making and strategy - Top-notch communication and people skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people. Relationship building and adept communication are assets in our fast-moving environment - Team player - this is a highly collaborative and supportive team environment - Self-starter - we don't have time or desire to micro-manage. You will take initiative, be proactive, set and drive toward goals
