Proposal or Bid Manager (preferably from Energy & Resource, CMT, PRD, Financial Services Domain Background)
The person will be responsible for authoring proposals primarily for:
- Application Outsourcing
- System Integration opportunities.
- This would also include providing support for proposal response efforts.
Must Have:
- Extremely strong industry domain skills in any one of the key sectors
- Financial Services, Communication Media & Tech., Resources, Products, Health & Public Sector "
- Should have significant hands-on experience in writing proposals for IT Services transactions worth more than $10mn in total value
- Should have worked in a multi-cultural environment outside of India in a sales support or sales enablement role
- Ability to take accountability for driving win rates for the proposals they are working on "Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills without a strong local accent "
Experience :
- Presales/proposal development function for deals primarily of Application Development and Maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years for TL level and 12 years for Manager level candidates
Educational qualification :
- First Class BE/B. Tech preferably MBA
Good to Have: Preferably should have a MBA
- Strong exposure and understanding of sales life cycle, global delivery models (On-site/Off-shore etc)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-cultural, dispersed and multi-party teams & working within a matrix structure to harness capabilities of the team and craft a winning proposal
- Capacity to translate complex technical solutions, strategies, and themes into readable and winning proposal
- Ability to establish and maintain personal credibility with subject matter experts from industry and technology capability
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making abilities
- Detail-oriented; demonstrated organizational and communication skills - Analytical thinking, interpersonal effectiveness, and positive attitude
