Property / Facility Manager (Foreign High Commission Office)

This position is with a High Commission Office in India.

EX-SERVICEMEN PREFERRED (MAX AGE - 45)

The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

1. Manage the property team activities and workload including accountability for and oversight of activities and outputs undertaken by the Property team.

2. Identify and implement business improvement and streamlining initiatives.

3. Manage the High Commission's leases; including property searches negotiations, renewals and terminations.

4. Manage a range of moderately complex contracts and property-related procurements (such as AMCs, waste disposal, canteen etc.).

5. Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects on the High Commission compound.

6. Manage tenant changeovers and make good of properties.

7. Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area and departmental goals.

- Key stakeholders include JLL (onsite facilities manager), tenants, other agencies, local bodies, landlords, contractors.

8. Inventory and event set up management.

9. Oversee the furniture and fittings replacement program including disposal of assets.

Qualifications/Experience : 

- Demonstrated relevant experience in procurement, facilities management and/or project management.

- Experience in staff management and resource management.

- Sound written and spoken English and Hindi language skills.

- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs.

- Relevant qualifications in project management, procurement and/or facilities management would be an advantage.

- Experience in diplomatic missions or other international organisations would be an advantage.
